Leaving Cert Business

You will be provided with Concise and Simple to understand notes for this course (Approx 65 pages) which will teach you the key elements of the course in a concise compact Study Pack. (FREE sample notes are available from "Get In Touch" page)

The sequence you attempt these questions is CRITICAL to your final result.

The exam paper comprises of 8 from 10 Short Questions  20% (DO FIRST).

The Applied Business Question 20% (DO LAST) and 4 other questions to attempt 15% each. (Your 2nd, 3rd, 4th & 5th questions on exam day).

Exam Tip: Answer the Short Questions first. Then do "THE Maths based question next".  Every LC Business paper will ask ONE standard question which will require you to do some basic maths calculations.

The Leaving Cert Higher Level paper question will be one of the following three questions

1. Ratios (Overlaps with pass accounting)

2. Breakeven Chart (Must know how to draw and comment on this graph)

3. Wages & Tax Computation (Overlaps with Maths course)

Now do the other 3 x 60 mark questions and finally attempt the ABQ question last.  DO NOT start the exam with the ABQ. If it is attempted badly your exam is in danger and you will unlikely recover from this decision.
