Leaving Cert Accounting

You will be provided with Concise and Simple to understand notes for this course (Approx 50 pages) which will show you how to prepare key Financial Statements and secure a high exam grade, (FREE sample notes can be requested from "Get In Touch" page). 

You will learn the key concepts of Income & Expenses and Assets & Liabilities which are the 4 cornerstones to answering:

1. Section A - Profit & Loss & Balance Sheet question (30% of exam). ATTEMPT LAST - 54 Minutes Max.

2. Section B - Interpretation of Accounts question, ALWAYS  exam Q 5 (25% of exam). Do FIRST in exam.

3. Section B - Club Accounts / Accounts of a Service Firm question,  exam Q 6 or 7 usually (25% of exam)

4. Section B - Published Accounts, Cashflow Statement question,  exam Q 6 or 7 usually (25% of exam)

(You must attempt any 2 from the above 3 questions set in Section B however Q.5 is a banker)

Section C - Management Accounting - Costing & Budgeting will for Q 8 & Q 9 in the exam. You do 1 ONLY.
